Homeschool Day

Join the Virginia Safari Park for a day of learning a discovery specifically for homeschool students.

On Friday, October 4, homeschool families can experience a full day of special education programming at the Virginia Safari Park where the classroom will come to life with interactive programs in an exciting learning environment.

Homeschool Day programs are designed specifically for children of all ages to encourage homeschool students to learn about the importance of conservation through the exploration of the world of animals.

Wagon rides will run every 15 minutes from 10am to 3pm

Educational Programs:
10:30 am: Anteater Chat
11:15 am: African Penguin Chat
1 pm: Cheetah Chat
3:15 pm: Giraffe Chat
3:15 pm: Meet the African Penguins, Feeding Demo

Purchase tickets at the gate. No need to pre-book your homeschool group; show up and join the fun! Last guest admitted at 4 pm.
