25th Anniversary Season Ends on November 30

The Virginia Safari Park’s 25th anniversary season is coming to a close, and there’s still time to make one more memory before we wrap up an unforgettable year. The park’s final day of operation for 2025 will be this Sunday, Nov. 30, with hours from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All vehicles must exit the park by 4:30 p.m. The park will reopen for the 2026 season in mid-March.

“As we wrap up our 25th anniversary season, I’m reminded of all the families who made memories with us this year,” said Sarah Fitzgerald, park director. “It’s been a year full of joy, discovery and unforgettable moments, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next March for the next chapter of wild adventures.”

Before the season ends, families are invited to celebrate the finale with a last drive-thru safari. The road winds through wide pastures, offering close-up views of animals from around the world. Take the route at your own pace, wave to your favorites and enjoy a wild adventure from the comfort of your vehicle.

Guests are encouraged to buy tickets in advance at virginiasafaripark.com to secure entry and speed up arrival. Planning to arrive early provides the smoothest experience.

We’re grateful for every visit, every smile and every memory shared during our anniversary year. Help us close the gates on a remarkable milestone and get ready for more wild adventures when we reopen in March 2026.
