At Virginia Safari Park, we see the conservation of wildlife as one of our main missions, and we take a multifaceted approach to achieve this. We care for hundreds of animals, including the very rare king cheetah, on our property. We participate in breeding programs to propagate endangered species. We educate our visitors, especially school-age children and their teachers, so that future generations will be encouraged to continue our efforts.
Beyond our own property lines, Virginia Safari Park and sister parks, Gulf Breeze Zoo in Florida and Alabama Safari Park support wildlife conservation through ongoing support of organizations doing work in the wild. We also bestow grants annually to deserving programs located in the region, in the United States and abroad.
